My Favourite Things

Hello today at Natalie and Amy's Monthly Challenge we have a theme of My Favourite Things! So what are My Favourite things. At this very moment in time I have two things that I love doing. They are digital crafting combined with traditional crafting and sewing. So for this I decided to make a padded bag for my daughter to store her child's tablet in.

I printed off this gorgeous duck image which I matted onto a backing paper (in CraftArtist) both from the Crafters Companion Everyday in Mulberry Wood CD rom. I printed onto a cotton and I also printed another of just the image (with my daughters name) onto some printable shrink plastic. I made a zip tag.
I attached to the zip using a jump ring.

I then added some cotton wadding to the image and quilted it. I then sewed it onto my material and made the bag.

Challenges I would love to enter are:

2 Sister Challenge - Anything but a card
Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes

Something NEW

Hi I am a little bit late posting this DT post for the Delicious Doodles Challenge . I have been entertaining today. This week Team B are creating Something New for the challenge. I decided to make two new baby cards. I digitally coloured up the image A Mothers Love one pink and one blue. I added to some card stock and added a punched border lace and a saftey pin and charm. I added a Whiff of Joy sentiment to finish.  There is a sale on too at the store a huge 20% off up until January 1st on ALL ITEMS

Something a bit different using a digital stamp

The current theme over at Delicious Doodles Challenge is Anything But a Card. The challenge which my team is not part of inspired me to stretch my imagination to create something with one of Teri's images. My son loves the part of the Nativity where the Three Kings are involved so I thought that Teri's image We Three Kings would be perfect for his stocking.

I sized the image to fit the stocking template I created. I then printed it twice. I used the image as a template. I have slightly altered the town of Bethlehem and the decorative lines.

I would love to know what you think.

Blue Christmas

Hi everyone hope you are all well and warm in this seasonally cold weather. I have been busy getting ready for christmas and here I am sharing with you one of the cards I have made. This is also for my DT piece over at Delicious Doodles Challenge where we want to see a christmas card with some blue in it.

I have used Emo Christmas and Snowflake collection from the Shop!  I coloured in my image mounted on to card and added some sparkle with stickles. I then scanned into the computer and created a backing paper to match the image using Craft Artist 2. I used a snowflake from the snowflake collection as an embellishment I added a red card candy and some gems to bling it up a bit. Sentiment stamp is inkadinkadoo. Ribbon is from the stash xxx

I hope you like my card I must say I loved making it. I am entering the following challenges with it.

ABC Christmas Challenge - X there must be an X on your project mine is the bones on the Emo's skull tattoo
