Happy Birthday Georgina !!!!

My beautiful baby girl is eleven today and I cannot believe where the time has gone. I remember so clearly I was still waiting right now to go and have my C-section as she was breech and refused to turn around!!! I was so relieved that she arrived safe and sound and she made me chuckle when she wee'd all over her Daddy as he was first to hold her. I was being stitched up and was shaking and when you have to keep your arms in a certain position it is damn hard to hold a baby. Still 45 minutes after she was born I got to hold her xxx

Anyhow enough reminiscing for me time to show you my DT card for the super duper Crafty Purple Frog Challenge! This week is a great theme of "PURPLE AND LACE". I decided to use this decoupage sheet called "Eglantine in Dawn" she is so pretty. I added some stickles to the image although my photo does not show this very well. Papers are MME and card stock is from stash.

Crafts and Me - Vintage/ Distressed

Good afternoon another card today from me this time for the brill challenge over at Crafts and Me Challenge Blog. The challenge is to use Vintage/ Distressed in your style!

I have used Bella Bella Papers by MME as I love the vintage vibe they have. I used some cream card to create a frame and some flowers both of which I cut using my Cricut ( George and Basic shapes for flowers and Graphically speaking for the frame and Straight from the nest for the leaves and flourish).

I used this gorgeous Meredith Dillman image from Sweet Pea Stamps and I decided to cut away a lot of the image to leave just the lady as I think she looks vintage cowgirl. I then coloured her with watercolours. I also coloured the papers and the cardstock to create a distressed vintage feel. I finally used a acrylic dauber around the card base to continue the theme.

The Sentiment is Hunkydory.

Meet Drew the Dragon...!

Hi there what a glorious sunny day!!! We had to get Jimmy's bloods done this morning at Guys Hospital so we decided to stop at Tower Bridge where there are some fabulous fountains for the kids to splash in, on our way back. We ended up staying for a good few hours. We also treated ourselves to a takeaway Margerita Pizza which was yummy. We stopped off at a small local playground and then made our way home. It was really a lovely day.

I made this card to show you this darling image from Designs By Charli. It is called Drew the Dragon. I wanted to give it a big cuddle when I saw it. I coloured with promarkers and copics and I made a background with Basic Grey paper and some cardstock die cut with my cricut and some images from Straight from the nest. I added some detail with a sakura stardust pen.

I love the springtime!

Hi there today we have been for a long spring walk through Southwark Park to the shops and back. I love the park in Springtime as there are tulips, blossom and the most cutest baby ducks. It inspired me to create this card for several challenges today.

I got my Cricut out and made this card using it. I have recently brought this cartridge " Straight from the nest" I adore it as it has corners, borders, and great designs on it. All I did was add a bit of stickles to parts of the design and I added a bow and floral detail.

I am entering the Fantabulous Cricut challenge they are having a Spring Fling which is there take on a blog hop. There are lots of fab prizes and inspiration along the hop. If we enter a project with one cricut  cut image and pink, Green and Yellow on it then we can win a grand prize.

I am also entering the card into the Totally Papercrafts challenge who have a " Springtime" theme. I hope you all have a fab Friday and hope to be back over the weekend with some more creations xxx

I am just popping in to show you a card I have made for my sister who celebrates her birthday next week. We both used to go Horse riding when we were young and both love horses so I thought I would use this gorgeous Mythical Pegasus from Teri's shop for her card. I was singing the theme tune to Black Beauty as I coloured this gorgeous image with my Prismacolour pencils and a tiny touch of white gel pen.

This card is also for my DT card at the brilliant Delicious Doodles Challenge! This week we are getting "All stitched Up" I used some gorgeous MME papers and I cut a filagree panel and some gorgeous corners on some gold Mirri card using my cricut and the straight from the nest cartridge. I added some faux stitching with a fineliner.

DT call over at Designs By Charli

I was really excited when my friend Charli asked me to be a part of her DT on her new adventure designing Digital stamps. Charli has a brand new store called Designs By Charli her images are fantastic and so much fun to work with. Charli is also searching for a new DT  check out this post on her brilliant blog!!!

I couldn't wait to get started so today I have made this card to showcase to you one of her gorgeously cute images. This gorgeous image is called Cheeky Monkey. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I have also made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge who want us to make a card for a child.

I used my Craftartist graphics package from Serif Software to create the background. I used the cutout feature to cut out the monkey from the white background. This is something i really love to do with Digital stamps. I copied, pasted and resized twice so it looks like there is a family of monkeys. I coloured the monkeys with copics and promarkers and added a layer of Basic Grey paper. I also added a button and ribbon embellishment.

I hope you like what I did and I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the new DT so please check out Charli's Blog for all the details.
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

The Crafty Purple Frog New Releases and New Challenge!

Hello there I have made my first shaker card this week for our challenge over at The Crafty Purple Frog where we are all getting "touchy feely" we want to see lots of  TEXTURE and RIBBON on your cards. As usual there are loads of prizes on offer so lots of chances to win something.

Hop on over to the SHOP as Amy has released the most stunning 6 designs this week both in Decoupage and Pyrimage which some of the DT have used in this weeks creations.

I have used the stunning Ivy Mermaid pyrimage for my shaker card. I created a background using my serif craftartist package. I added the pyrimage and then decoupaged some of elements I had from my digital background.  I then used the gorgeous Driftwood border frame from this weeks sponser the wonderful Delicious Doodles Store.

I cut out the centre and attatched acetate to it. I then distressed the frame with distress inks and crackle glaze. I used some foam tape to make the frame raised from the pyrimage but secure to keep my jewels, stones and charms added for the shaker card effect. I then attatched to an A4 card to which I added some ribbon and a High hopes sentiment.

Crafts and Me Use Glitter

Hello there I am loving the sunshine we have had the last two days it lifts so many spirits and makes the world such a happy place to be. I have been for a walk on the River Thames today as we had to go to Guys hospital for some blood tests for Jimmy. I am hoping that these ones come back okay after last week.

I made this card for the fantastic challenge over at Crafts and Me challenge. They want to see glitter on our creations this week. Easy for me as I have a real thing about stickles at the moment on most of my cards.

I used the gorgeous imageby Hannah Lynn called Kathleen Mermaid. She is coloured with promarkers copics and dashes of stardust pen. I then added some stickles around her. I made a frame and added a hunkydory sentiment. Very simple this week but the image has such gorgeous detail I wanted it to shine.

I am also entering it into Simon Says Stamp challenge who want to see spring colours and Papertake Weekly who are having an Anything Goes challenge with the option to use something new. I purchased a whole new selection of stickles xxx

It's Mo Time yeay !!!!

Having had a deflated start to the weekend I jumped for joy when I got the chance to make my card for the mos digital challenge I love my Mo's and I love seeing them come to life as I colour them. The theme this week is "Buttons and Bows" two of my fave embellies although used rather sparingly on this card.
I am also using the sketch from the Simon Says Stamp Challenge by Domi. The image I chose to use is from the carnival collection at Mo's store and she is called The Fat Lady isn't she a true Diva I adore her and the other characters in this collection.
I coloured her with promarkers copics and a sakura glaze pen. I used DCWV papers and added some ribbon and buttons.

*Schoolgirl error to point out I messed up my sentiment so I will correct that so please ignore the mistake*
Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Crafts and Me Use Yellow

Hello never a dull moment here last night at 4.00pm the doctor rings to say Jimmy's bloods are not good and could we get him to A&E asap. So I had to hurridly arrange childcare and a lift to A&E. He is Neutrapenic which means that he is not able to fight infection well should he get one so this is the last place we wanted to be so I explained this to the recepetion and they got us through a lot quicker well it took a couple of hours and out of the waiting area.
They retook his bloods and sent us away for a further  2 hours to  wait for the results. Fortunately it looks like it was a faulty test. He is still Neutrapenic but the other factors are good.
We got home at Midnight and I am feeling a bit jaded today. I have though been given some beautiful cards, chocolates and flowers by my babies for tomorrow.
Here is a card I have made for the Crafts and Me challenge who want to seeYELLOW on our projects. I used the gorgeous Molly Harrison image "Hiding Unmounted" which you can buy HERE. I coloured her with promarkers, copics and stardust pens. I kept the layout very simple using just some cardstock to matt and layer and some Basic Grey paper and a  few gems.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Delicious Doodles Challenge - Mothers Day!!!

Hi there just quickly popping in to show you my DT creation for Delicious Doodles Challenge. This week we would love to see your Mothers Day Creations.
For those of you following the updates on Jimmy's health I am pleased to say that we do not have to see the consultant for another 3 months and that we are only having Full Blood counts weekly and epilepsy medicine so things are on the up.
I decided to create this bag. Those of you that hop in will know that I am a bit obsessed with templates at the moment. So I made this handbag to pop a gift into. I used the gorgeous Easter Bunny Fairy.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale
