New Stash from Natalie's and Amy's shop...

Hello I hope you are all enjoying your day. I have been doing a mahoosive clear out of stuff as my craft storage needed to be tended too. I needed to relax afterwards so I made this little Thank You card using some gorgeous stash that arrived today from Natalie and Amy's Shop.

I used this stamp called Little Dawn Watering a real cutie from Nellie Snellen. I coloured her with my new Spectrum Noir Pastels really love these alcohol pens.

I used First Edition Family Ties papers and Papermania Capsule Chelsea Green papers to create a background on my card. I used some punches from my craftroom to create the flowers and added gems. The ribbon is available in the shop HERE!. I used some glossy accents which you can buy HERE! on the watering can to give it a bit of dimension. Finally I added a sentiment to the image using these wonderful alphabet stamps from Dovecrafts. I have to say at 99p they are a must have.

I am entering this card into the following challenge:

The Secret Crafter - Bright and Cheerful

Sneak Peek of Quiet Contemplation

Hi hope you have all had a great weekend. I got to do lots of crafty things after my H*******K so I am sharing with you a canvas I made for myself for my bedroom. This gives me the opportunity to share a new release from Delicious Doodles called "Quiet Contemplation". She is due for release Wednesday in the SHOP. I love her so calming and elegant.  I am going to make some miniature ones to accompany her. I dream of a grey and pink bedroom so this will inspire me to design my room.

I opened the image up in my Serif craftartist on a custom page 20cm by 20cm however the lines from the umbrella did not reach across the page so I extended them. I then printed the image out and coloured using just cosmic shimmers paints. I painted the canvas sides and back with an acrylic black paint. I modge podged the image to the canvas. I then added a few twigs I created using a Martha Stewart punch. The blossom on the twigs is the flower in her hair which I cut away from the image digitally and resized.

Challenges entered
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything goes
Come and get it Challenge - Anything but a Card
Stampalot Challenge - Whats Your Crafty Passion? I love using digital techniques with craft techniques. I have made this canvas using a digital image which I altered slightly and I have painted with cosmic shimmers and Acrylics and added a punch.

There is a deal on at the moment to get a 30% discount so I purchased a few images. This one is called What the Librarian Reads.

No longer a Saturated Canary virgin xxx

Hi I hope you are all well. I am busy as a bee with one thing and another. The holidays are soon so should be able to blog more. I had a bit of time this afternoon to make a little Name canvas for my Bradie. She loves my Arc (Art) and tells everyone I am an Artist. I found out she has Dyslexia as well as her DCD this week. Her Phonological awareness is not very good and her short-term and Working Memory are poor so her IEP is going to be radically reviewed in September.
I have never ever coloured a Saturated Canary image I have admired them for ages. So this is the first go for me. I used Butterfly Princess I coloured with Spectrum Noirs and glitter pens for the bling. I used Prima papers . I modge podged them onto the canvas. I then coloured the edges with a Spectrum Noir. I added lots of gorgeous Embellies to finish it off xxx

Challenges entered are:

Summer Holidays....!!!

Hello we are on our Summer Holidays from this week over at Delicious Doodles. So our theme this week is Summer Holidays. I managed to get out last night to Greenwich with a couple of good friends. We went to Nandos my first ever time. We sat on the terrace over looking the Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf and The Shard. I must say I was a bit disappointed with the laser show it was not visible from a distance. I could of stayed home and watched it from my balcony....!!! I hope everyone is safe in this rain over the weekend.

I have had another busy week. My Dad is poorly his lungs are deterioating with age and he has had some problems breathing so I worry as he is in Cornwall. I am off to Occupational Therapy with my daughter to see how her Theutaputic Listening is going. I also had a job interview for a role as a SEN and Families Adminstrator. I did not get the role but they offered me  a maternity cover in January. I have applied for some other school admin roles too so  hope that they are successful xxx

I have used the gorgeous Fern the Forest Fairy from Delicious Doodles for this challenge. I coloured her with Spectrum Noirs lights set (love this set). The DP's are from a Prima set called Almanac. I made my flowers with these DP's and added some pretty rosebuds.

Close - UP

Challenges I am entering are

Crafts and Me - 1 Image, 2 DP's, 3 Embellishments
My Mum's Craft Shop - Photo Inspiration ( I used the colours for inspiration)

Sneaky Peak of Thorne

Hi Everyone hope you had some sunshine this weekend. We did here intermittently however I have been working on some sewing projects and I managed to make this card with this STUNNER which will be released at Delicious Doodles this week. She is called Thorne. I love her tattoo and her expression.
I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir lights boxset. I love the colour pallette in this box. I then used the spectrums to create a moody background. I added two DP's from my DCWV papers. I added a  sentiment and then cut out the flowers from her hair to add as an embellishment. I added some gems to finish. I love this card and I am giving it to a really good friend for her birthday.

Challenges I am entering are:
