Papertake Weekly - Sketch

Hi I have been looking through my Greeting Farm Stamps collection lately and I thought these two were perfect for the challenge over at Papertake Weekly! So here are two more christmas creations.
I am freezing. It has started snowing here in London today. I have no heater in my front room as it is letting off a rather putrid smell. We think there is something plastic burning in it.
I had a fright last night too my fridge freezer was making some strange sounds. I switched it off put all the food out on the balcony and today he seems happier xxx
I hope you like my cards. I used Promarkers and copics to colour the gorgeous stamps and added some glitter too.
I used papermania papers and the ribbon and holly is from my stash. I used some coredinations cardstock for my base card.

Anyone for Anya - sketch

Hello it is soooo cold!!! Brrr I am still defrosting from the school run. Good news the little one has not sprung spots so hopefully not chickenpox just yet. I have been busy making this card for the Anyone for Anya challenge which has given us a great sketch to follow.
My OH has his birthday two days before Christmas so I have made this for him. I used papers that I will be releasing shortly over at Pascale's PAD and one of the supercool images from the  "My Guy Ian" set! I wanted to play with some inking techniques so this is how I created the background. I added a swirly stamp to the corner and the grasses which are both from Clarity Stamps. I added some faux stitching and some gems and the sentiment is using my (why on earth did I not get one of these before) Cricut xxx

Anyone for Anya and Friends - DT call

Hello I am back with a decorated Christmas tree. It is twinkling away!!! :0). A very simple affair this year, a few pearls, and lots of multicoloured baubles. The kids are so excited now the christmas countdown is underway. All we need now is the white stuff which has so far avoided us here in London :0( I hope those of you who do have it are safe and warm. I think my little one may have chickenpox but will have to wait until the morning to be sure.
Okay I stopped by the Anyone for Anya and friends blog today and they are having a DT call. I am entering this side easel card.
I was watching Create and Craft and saw the Docrafts demonstrator Phil make one and thought I have to try this.
I have used this gorgeous Diva from the first Miss Anya Collection. One of my favourite sets. I decided to use her for a Christmas card as like many of you I love Christmas shopping.
I used my Circut to make the cityscape. I then coloured in my image with promarkers and copics and cut her out. I printed my papers which are from The Holly Collection at Pascale's PAD! I chose to make a 6" square card. I folded the on side of the card in half the opposite way to if you were making a traditional easel card. I added a boarder that I punched with a Martha Stewart punch and added a ribbon using Foam pads to raise it to act as my butter. I added some glittered stars and some tag sentiments.
I then cut my cityscape added some of it to the large square and using the other half to make the easel. I added my gorgeous Miss Anya with foam pads to the front of the card.

Thanks so much for the chance to enter the DT call.If you want to take part pop over to the Anyone for Anya and Friends BLOG you will find full details of the DT call xxx

Rockin around the christmas tree.... !!!

Hello I am so excited the christmas tree (fake this year) is being brought as I write and we are going to put it up later. I know it is not December but with all this snow (none here yet) I feel festive!!!
I am bringing you two cards I have made for my Keep It Simple DT! I love this weeks theme so I made two cards which I will enter into some challenges that I will list by them. The theme is JOY!
The first card is made using my Vintage Christmas collection one from Pascale's PAD. I used two Whiff of Joy Stamps that I got last year and I love. This would be me if I was living years ago and had to have a real tree. I would be taking a break having chopped it down ROFLxxx or watching my strongman chopping it down PMSL xxx.
I used promarkers and copics to colour her. I roughed up the edges of my two DP's and added a touch of distress ink to them. I 3D the image onto the backing papers and voila card done!
I am entering this card into CES Challenge which has a theme of vintage Christmas.

IMAGES- Whiff of Joy
MEDIUM - promarkers and copics

The second card is made using my new cricut machine and my newest release over at Pascale's PAD called Holly Collection. I used my cricut to cut out the sentiment (using the ice blue holly paper) and a shadow. I then cut out the badge in two co-ordinating colours. I used a 14cm by 14cm square of the snowflake paper to mount the sentiment and border onto. I added some glitter glue to the badge. I am entering this card into Totally Papercrafts which has a theme of untraditonal colours. I am also entering Cricutz Challenge blog who have a theme of a Christmas card with words only.

Hello I have been having a mixed week. My daughter has been put onto Schools Action Plus because of her Speech and Language development so she will get extra help which is kind of a relief. It will mean her needs are monitered more closely. My son had a bit of an incident in school where the teachers didn't really listen to him and punished him I think unjustly so I am a bit fed up with that too.
Anyhow what to do when fed up and stressed get creating is my soloution. Here is a card for the following challenges.

I coloured her with promarkers, copics and sakura stardust pens. I used my new Design Papers called "Holly Collection and you can find them at Pascale's PAD!

Mo's Dreamteam DT call

Hello I was having a little hop around today and I saw that Mo's Dreamteam are having a DT call. How exciting! I couldn't pass on the opportunity to create a card for this DT call. You can find all the details of the DT call here! The inspiration on the Dreamteam blog is SUPERB!

I chose to use one of the images from the fantastic Diaper Crew  set.  You can get this set at Mo's Digital Pencil store. I love this set and it comes out time and time again when I need a card that is suitable for a baby. There are 6 supercute images to choose from suitable for boys and girls. Today I have made a baby card for a girl.
I love creating scenes on my cards and it is actually something I have not done for a while so I have had a real blast this afternoon creating this card.

This card is a 6 inch by 6 inch square card. I used my cricut to cut out the baby vests and the rattle. I coloured my adorable member of the Diaper Crew with promarkers and copics and cut her out. I then cut out my Tim Holtz die fence using my cuttlebug and my grass that is a die from Whiff of Joy Stamps.
I then cut out a 5 and a half inch square to create my scene onto.

I decided to have my grass going  up two inches. I used promarkers to create a grass effect. I then used my Hero arts background cloud stamp to create the sky. I then assembled everything. I hope you enjoy my little scene. I know Mo's Images always bring a smile to my face xxx

Normally we go to my SIL but they are going out for a meal so I may just start planning my table etc. Table cards to make possibly crackers LMAO xxx

Anyhow this week at Keep It Simple we have a theme of Evergreen. I decided to test out the new Cricut (my xmas/ Birthday gift). My cricut sampler cartridge has this fab set of trees on it so I used these for my design. I cut out a matt from Silver mirri. I also used my sentiment from the cricut. I Love my new toy I can see a whole new way of crafting for me. Last year I brought the slice and I was quite disappointed with it but so far this little beauty is great.

Mo's Digital Pencil - 3 punches on your project

I am so happy to have been working with my Mo images again in  the last few weeks. I am always happy with a card when I have used one of Mo's images on it. Her beautiful illustrations just make me smile and smile even more as I a colour them and they become animated.
I have a big smile on my face for another reason too. My cricut from the create and craft POD came today and I have already has a play and I am so happy I indulged. It is my joint christmas/ birthday gift. My birthday is 3 weeks the otherside of christmas. I was due New Years Day but waited three weeks to pop out.
Anyhow onto my card. I have made this for the challenge called Mo's Digital Pencil too challenge. I have used Pammy's Stocking from Mo's Digital Pencil. OM gosh I love her to bits. I used promarkers, copics and sakura stardust pens to  colour her. I cut here out and then I cut around her with some black coredinations card to create the shadow. I then used a nestie label to create a matt. I layered  all these onto my green coredination card with which I punched around using a Martha Stewart corner punch and matching edge punch. I also used a punched snowflake which I jazzed up with abit of distress ink. embossing and glitter.

Kids Christmas cards

Morning it is another crisp and frosty one here in the UK. I hope you are all well. I just want to share with you my Delicious Doodles creations that I have been working on this week.
I have been batch christmas cardmaking. I have 90 childrens cards to make so I needed them to be quick but effective. Teri's cute images were perfect for this. I chose three images to make this batch they are Baby Rudolph, Rudolph with gift and Penguin with gifts. They are all available in Delicious Doodles Shop!
Because Teri's images are so easy to colour this is why they are perfect for batch cardmaking and as they are digital the time it takes to produce the outline is far quicker than traditional stamping. I created 16 images on one A4 sheet of card simply by resizing the image and copying and pasting. The papers are from my blog shop Pascale's PAD they are from the , Vintage Christmas1 collectionChristmas scene Traditional papers and Christmas scene Muted colours Papers collections. I used promarkers and copics to colour the images cut them out and used foam pads to attatch them. I then added some gems to the snowflakest to create a bit of bling.
I have got about 25 cards made so far so I should be finished by the end of this week xxx
Please join us this Friday for the blog hop over at the CHALLENGE blog.  There are loads of prizes to be won and lots of beautiful cards to see xxx

We Three Kings have travelled so far...

Firstly and foremostly I just want to share my remembrance of all those that have died, fought and  are fighting to secure our countries FREEDOM. They are mightly brave and I respect them in everyway risking their own freedom in order to obtain a safe enviroment for our children to grow up in. I do not necessarily support war but I discourage many of the radical ideologies that have in history created it. RIP xxx
Okay onto cardmaking a much lighter and fun topic xxx I have made this card for my DT card over at the wonderful Keep It Simple! Our theme this week is WONDERLAND I am also entering it into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme over there is ALL MY FAVOURITE THINGS.
For this card I used my current favourite set of papers from my blog shop Pascale's PAD. This set is called   " We three Kings Funky Collection". I love brown at the moment so this is the colour paper. I thought it tied in well with the mice who are coloured with copics and promarkers my favourite medium. I added some glitter too another little favourite of mine this time of the year. Of course I used the lovely clean and simple style that I really am enjoying x
Please join us over at Keep it Simple we have a great stamp from funkykits on offer as a prize.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Use some vellum and /or Acetate meets Simon Says Challenge

Hello hope you are all enjoying the weekend. I have made two cards today already and done loads of chores so I suppose it must be a fairly good one.
I am a little bit reflective today. My Dad celebrates his birthday today. He lives in Cornwall so I do not see him very often. He recently came within an hours drive of my flat but did not tell me in time to arrange for my partner to take time off to take us all to see him.
I just had a moment of tears before writing this as he gets older I fear the last time I saw him last christmas may be our last time together and that was barely two hours. Anyway forgive me and my depression. I sometimes have quite severe mood swings and this week has been full of them unfortunately. :0( xxx
Anyway here I am sharing a card with you for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge they have a theme of using acetate and or vellum. I used both on this card. Simon Says Stamp Challenge has a theme of Prince Charming. Love this theme girls. It is to make a male card and use a charm on it.
So I have made this card. I will list my ingredients below. I hope you like it I had a blast making it and now I am coping with some really sad feelings. I hope to post later with some happier feelings. Goodness me wish sometimes I was a less openbook xxx

Lili of the Valley - Anything Goes

What a week! I have had real problems at school this week for my daughter. She has a speech development delay that is affecting her language and literacy. Well last week for the first time ever she said "I don't want to go to school mummy" and again this week.
I asked her "why?" her reply " Because ***** shouted at me in our special class"!!! My mind tells me that is not the way to approach children with learning difficulties. They need someone who is patient and kind. Not someone shouting " Get on with your work".
I have been in and out dealing with it and feel quite upset with it all. I have never made an issue of her learning difficulties. Yes I shout at her when she is naughty but never in relation to her speech etc. She is undergoing some more tests at school and may need to see an education psychologist.
Anyway of course to alleviate all the worry I have been creating. I have made this christmas card for the Lili of the valley Challenge which is an Anything Goes challenge with a blog hop to launch their new range.
I have coloured the image with promarkers and copics I love this image of the boys renacting the nativity, oh so cute x I have teamed it with some papers from the "We Three Kings Traditional " collection available at Pascale's PAD
I added a sentiment some ribbon and a charm too from my stash.

We Three Kings Funky or Traditional or both x

Another new over at Pascale's PAD today. I wanted some more contemporary papers to use for Christmas but ones that still said Christmas when I  used them. So I have designed these two collections called We Three Kings Funky and We Three Kings Traditional.
They are versitile enough to be also be used for everyday crafts too. The crowns can be incorporated into a princess card. The Polka Dots into a Baby card or any everyday card.

Flocked Digital Paper...a sneaky peek too x

Hello there I was flicking through the challenge blogs this week and I saw that over at Just Magnolia they want us to use beads on our projects,as an optional, for their monthly Anything goes challenge. My first crafting passion is jewellery making so I had to give it a go.
This card was really simple to make. I used Fleur De Lys 5 from my new set of papers Fleur de Lys collection. These will be available at Pascale's PAD next week.
I resized it  in my graphics program to 14cm by 14cm square. I then used my quickie glue pen to colour in the Fleur de Lys I then used flocking powder as you would use glitter and voila homemade flocked paper.
I stamped the great sentiment from Magnolia stamps and used my nesties to frame it. I created a beaded charm and attatched it. I attatched using pinflair glue to create dimension. I then added some faux stitching.

Keep It Simple

Hi Keep It Simple has a theme of SHAPE UP! this week. Lots of ways that this can be interpreted. I went with a 3D card with lots of shapes within it. So the card is rectangular (6" square when flat) and has a square window on it. It is 3D so that makes it cubiod ( I think mathematicians please correct me).

This week we have another generous sponsor who is Clare from our design team and is offering one of our lucky players the fab prize pictured below. Scrummy I am sure you'll all agree xxx Thanks hunny x

I will be putting a tutorial on my blog as to how I made my card in the coming week. I used Christmas scene Papers -muted tones and my shadow box template both of which are available at Pascale's PAD.
I used acetate to create a window and created a frame to cover up the glue holding the acetate. I punched two strips to add some interest to the sides of the card. I used some adorable stamps from crafters companion which I coloured with promarkers and copics.

Papers -Pascale's PAD and acetate
Template -Pascale's PAD
Stamps - Crafters companion
Medium - memento ink, promarkers, copics
Punch - Martha Stewart
I am just off to prepare the Sunday Roast and I will be back with a Magnolia christmas card this afternoon x

Shadow Box Template now available!

Hiya hope you are all having a great weekend. There were some super fireworks going off around us last night. We have a perfect view of the local display from our flat. The kids loved it and there were oodles of ooh's and ahh's!!!!So we stayed indoors and watched them!!!I am thinking or hosting a party next year or even charging for the great view he he!!!

Today I would like to bring you my Shadow Box Template. It is available here at Pascale's PAD.

This is  a PNG file so it allows you to put things behind it great for using your  digital papers and so much easier than all that measuring. It means you can print directly to the card so solves all those lining up issues.

All you need to remember is to cut the solid lines and emboss the dotted lines. This file can be resized in  a graphics program. It is designed for  a 6" by 6" square card but if you want a smaller or larger card just resize it. I will e-mail the PNG file to you within 48 hours of receiving your payment.

I am in the middle of doing a tutorial and I will be adding it to this blog and the shop blog at a later date to show you how to use this template.

Price £1.00

I have made this card to show you what your card will look like if you use acetate with your project. All the papers are available at Pascale's PAD. I used the Sepia (from the christmas scene muted tones collection) and the red snowflakes (from the Christmas scene traditonal colours set) for this project.

Papers - Pascale's PAD

Hi there I have been busy creating this card to show off my new collection of Christmas scene papers - muted tones which are availble over at Pascale's PAD. I have used the blue set from this collection to make this shadow box card. I am hoping to make a tutorial so I will not go into the measurements just yet I will hopefully create a tutorial over the weekend.
I used two of the papers. I added a stamped Magnolia snowman and a die cut snowflake. I am entering my card into the following three challenges.
