Hi there some advice please to slice or not to slice!

Hi there I am nearing my birthday and will get some money to spend. I am considering buying a Slice machine as it is small and I like the cartridges that come with it. Can anyone recommend it? I don't really want to splash out on a cricut as the cartridges are more expensive and the craft robo just looks like too much flaff. Any advice warmly received. Hugs Pascale x

Hi there Passion for Promarkers challenge

This is for the Passion for Promarker challenge which is anything but a card with a christmas or New Year theme. I made these decs for the tree. I used MME christmas papers and the stamps are Whiff of Joy and Sugar Nellie. I used my promarkers to colour in and I sprayed with Crafters companion glitter spray gold to make them more festive. The die I used is the Nellies oval die. These are gorgeous dies to use on your projects. I have left photos of three individual decorations below so have a scroll down to see in more detail.

On the fourth day of Christmas..... Sketch #4

Hi there well I have had my mum up today so I have been busy entertaining her. She has gone back to West Sussex now but is coming back to see us boxing day. I had a bit of time late this afternoon to make this card as the kids popped out to enjoy the end of the snow.

The card is for the TGF twelve days of christmas sketch challenge . I used the new Miss Anya love stamps for this. This one is so funky and I am loving this collection. I think it is my favourite Miss Anya collection to date. I used promarkers to colour and the papers are K&co. I hope you like the colour combo as much as I do.

Just Magnolia - Mina's sketch

Hello well finally got back on the computer. My nine year old has taken it over LOL x I made this card on Saturday for the Just Magnolia challenge but amidst the mayhem that is christmas I have just got around to blogging it.

I used cosmo cricket papers and she is coloured with copics and promarkers. The tilda is from the new winter collection which I think is really lovely. I had heard some bad reports about it so was cautious about receiving it. I think the kit is really versitile for a number of occasions and I love it!

12 days of Sketches - Sketch one

What a week I have watched my beautiful children in their nativity. My baby girl was a sheep, my eldest son an african and my eldest daughter was mum and she sung in a group song. I am not allowed to publish photos in public forums so sorry I cannot share with you all :( I also had a teary moment today when my gorgeous eldest daughter had to sing in the school church service she was part of the gospel choir. AMAZING performance.

I have entered the fab contest over at The Greeting Farms blog go over now it is a must do! The prize is awesome and we get a sketch to follow everyday for the next twelve. This is Cindy Haffners sketch.

I used my Marina Neira image and sentiment that I received as a part of my prize for a recent blog hop. It is adorable!

The papers are basic grey and the embellishments are from my stash.

Sketch Saturday

Hello I am so tired my little baby boy is better but his big brother is now very poorly. Last night he awoke to tell a man who was not there to "go away" and "stop doing that I don't like you". I told him no one was there but he said "yes they are, there look!" Well his tempreture was sky high and this morning he had runny poo so I took him to the docter and he said it is gastric virus. He seems a bit better now. Could be swine flu but I am not going to give him Tamiflu as I think the side effects are as dangerous as the disease.

I made this card yesterday for the Sketch Saturday challenge and just photographed it. To see what i used to make the card look under the photo. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and look at my cards I really appreciate it x
