Daring Cardmakers Challenge - Take Five

Hello I have made this card for the challenge over at Daring Cardmakers . The challenge is "Take Five". It is to use 5 of the same things in one card. My prize from High hopes stamps arrived the other day and so I used 4(the cow, the sentiment, the pig and melons) of those and 1 other one(farm background). So I used 5 stamps by high hopes as my "Take 5".
The paper is Basic Grey sugared collection. I used copics and promarkers to colour I really had fun with this one. Sorry if it looks like I combined some of the previous challenges into the card it wasn't intentional (farm and music).
We have just got back from a lovely barbeque at my sister in laws and the kids are exhausted after playing in her garden all afternoon. So just got to get ready for school tomorrow now.

Winter Wonderland - Challenge #1 Oh Christmas Tree

Hello everyone well this is such an exciting day!!! It is the first challenge over at Winter Wonderland . The excitement of christmas begins now. Get prepared at a stressfree pace. Please try to make time to join in with this weeks theme which is "Oh Christmas Tree".

There is a lovely prize on offer. Kindly dontated by Teri.

I made this card using my stampbord that I found lying in my stash. I put all the squares together and used my paperartsy christmas tree stamp to create the image. I heat embossed the image so I could use my H2O's to colour in. I created the background with a mixture of the colours on the trees. I used some nesties to layer the main image onto and the base card is glimmer misted and then some swirls have been stamped onto it. I added the tartan ribbon and used rub-ons to create the sentiment.

Please pop over to Joey , Anne , Teri , Lesley and Sam's blogs to check out their DT's. Can't wait to come and see all your yummy creations. I hope you have as much fun as we all are making your christmas cards in advance.

Sketch Saturday - Happy Birthday one and all!!!!

Hello everyone I have been out today to the Fountains by Tower bridge. The kids love to cool off by running in and out of them. We had to get home to watch the footie. I started making this, this morning but have finished it just now. It is Sketch Saturday's birthday they have some celebration giveaways,so pop over and take a peek. One of my favourite sketch blogs so I had to join in.
I used my new sunshine Miss Anya I think she may be my favourite at the moment. I created a little beach scene. She is a surfer dudette and she is just checking out the surf. I made a palm tree from a punch and paper. The sentiment reflects the feeling I get joining in this challenge every week!!!

Club Anya - I wanna be just like UK Caz

I am in christmas mode so I made this card for the contest at Club Anya which is called I wanna be just like.....UK CAZ. Pop over to see Caz's fab card which you have to take inspiration from.
I wanted to play with Miss Anya snow which is why I am really in christmas mode. I stamped her onto shrink plastic and coloured her with promarkers. I then shrunk her. I made a bauble with mirrorcard, cuttlebug, peeloffs and gems. I then stamped the other baubles. I placed the circle ontop of a square of DCWV paper and added the embellishments. Caz's card had some lavish embellishing on it, this I found inspiring.
Finding today tiring as I went out to meet a friend last night and am struggling with the late night, early morning thing. I have been to the park today as the weather is glorious today. I am now cooking a yummy dinner and catching up with blogging.

Cute Card Thursday - Bling

Hi Everyone the weather is not making it's mind up today so stayed in and could of gone out (apart from taking youngest daughter to speech therapy). I have made this card for cute card Thursday. I used fireman Ian from the greeting farm. I love fireman. Had a dream come true when I was rescued by some when a lift got stuck. They were hunky ones which was even better.
I made a little scene by cutting out some paper. I stamped the cats head from pretty hat anya set and drew a body. I then added the sentiment. The bling elements are the cats collar tag (a gem) and the mirror card. I punched the stars and scalloped some card.

Simon Says stamp challenge - Animals

Well I hope this counts for the Simon says stamp challenge. I sneaked a bird and a cat into the scene. There is a human too. I received my new Rain, sun and snow Miss Anya's yesterday and so had to have another play. I made this little card. I used Basic grey papers. The tree is by High hopes stamps and the picket fence is die cut. I coloured Miss Anya with copics and promarkers. Kept the layout and embellishing simple to make the scene standout. The clouds are from whiff of joy.

Creative Card Crew - Pretty Flowers

Good evening I have made this for the creative card crew challenge which is to make a card and use pretty flowers!!! I like to think I use pretty flowers on most of my cards so I just used it as an excuse to ink up my new Miss Anya. I made a little beach scene. I used the dog from the Pretty Hat anya set and I used the flower from this set to layer up my flowers. Papers are Marakesh by basic grey. I am gutted for MD showdown I thought they should of gone through in Britains Got Talent.

Passion for Promarkers - Anything goes!!!

Hi everyone, the sun has finally popped his hat on here in London. It has been a miserable morning. I took my son to have his chest listened to today and he is being refered to a chest clinic still a slight wheeze. My eldest daughter has been given an inhaler too!!!!!
I have made this card for Passion for Promarkers challenge. I adore my new Leanne Ellis stamp so I had another play with her. I paperpieced her dress with these gorgeous K&co papers. I then created a shrug and decoupaged it. The shrug is coloured with ivory promarker and dull ivory copic and lionel gold copic. I coloured in the stripey arms and the hair embellishment and flowers with maroon promarker and lionel gold copic. Her hair is coloured in with cinnamon, Shale and henna promarkers and again decoupaged. I coloured in the face and arm with Ivory, vanilla, blush and pastel pink promarkers.
I used watercolours to create the shading around the image. I then made bouquet using some dried flowers and leaves. I added a sentiment some ribbon and a charm too.
Why don't you pop over to check out the challenge this week. Below are some good reasons why.

As you know our first challenge is "anything goes" so you can use any colour promarkers you may have (even if you only have one) but please can you tell us which colours you have used on your post. Now for the first challenge (and the first challenge only) we are offering mega prizes from our four sponsors, therefore we will not allow you to combine our challenge with any other challenge, but only for this week.

The amazing prizes are:
Angela at Angel Crafts is offering 3 ribbon kits
Joanna Sheen is offering an amazing 92 ProMarkers, that is the whole set!
Tracy at Dies to die for is offering 2 gorgeous stamps
Daisy May Digi Stamps is offering 5 sheets of downloads!

3 challenges in one card!!!

I made this card for three challenges. High hopes challenge was to use mainly pink and brown on your card. Basic Grey's challenge was to use doodling and I used the sketch from Friday sketchers .
I used the main image stamp from high hopes stamps. I used H20's to colour the image. I then used a basic grey stamp to make the flowers and doodled the stems and the leaves. The paper is also from basic grey.
The weather has been gorgeous but I have chosen to stay in and craft as I am shattered after all the shenanigans this week. We went to Godstone Farm yesterday which was a really lovely day out may post some pics up tomorrow. Hope you are all enjoying the bank Holiday!!!

sketch Saturday meets Colour Create

I combined the sketch at sketch saturday with the colour combo and theme at colour create for this card. I used my new Leanne Ellis stamp from sugar nellie. The sketch I rotated to fit in my image. The colours this week are Lemon, Pink Sorbet and chocolate. The theme is shabby chic.

I coloured my image with a mixture of promarkers and copics. I then did a background with watercolours. I tore around the edges to create a shabby chic look to the image. I then layered the card using K and co papers and the sketch from sketch saturday. I made my flowers from shop brought and paperpunched flowers. I added spacers and a gem to them. I then doodled to emulate the image. I added some lace to create a shabby chic feel again. I hope this fits the criteria for the challenge.

The Crafty Pad

The challenge this week at The crafty Pad is to follow the awesome sketch by Debbie. This is my second week as a Guest designer and I had a lot of fun with this sketch. I used Belinda goes shopping for the cards main image and the border stamp set for all the details on the card. I have used no patterned papers at all. I heat embossed the borders and cut them out and then coloured in the flowers with sakura stardust pens and added gems to their centres. I also stamped the card behind with the second border in the set. I use some of the leftover flowers to add to the image as further embellishment. I coloured Belinda with a mixture of copics and promarkers and I used watercolour to do the background.

Daring cardmakers challenge - Wet Wet Wet

Daring cardmakers have challenged us to get Wet, wet, wet.
I'd like to see cards featuring water of any kind, and if you can actually USE water in the making of them - then you can claim an extra bonus point lol.
I used this stamp by high hopes which I then heat embossed and coloured with H20's my current favourite medium along with artist pens (copics and promarkers). I cuttlebugged some swirls ( waves) and coloured in the dembossed area with H20's I added a sentiment and ribbon and a scalloped border.

The Sugar Bowl

I have made this card for The sugar bowl challenge . I followed the sketch and the added extra was pearls so I added a swirl of pearls and a few pearls to the image. I used this Leanne Ellis image as she has been sitting in my stamp drawer for a little while so I thought she should come out for a play. I heat embossed the image coloured with promarkers and twinkling H20's. I cuttlebugged some white cardstock and added some twinkling H20's. I made the flowers with my nesties and some roses and I added a small sentiment. I have had hardly any sleep this week and feel rather jet lagged!!!

Cute card Thursday - a sporting chance

Hello my baby boy Maxie ate his dinner all up! He has been living on yoghurt for a week. I am really happy that he did this he also nicked a carrot and a potato off my plate!
I am really happy that I also got to make this card for Cute card Thursday . The theme is a sporting chance so I used my football stamp from sugar nellie and created a turf using a stamp from crafters companion. I then chalked over it. I used papers by basic grey and I made a scalloped border. I added some pebbles and a sentiment too.

Is anyone still awaiting their Whiff of Joy summer collection?

Hello just a quick question hope to back with a card or two later. Is anyone still awaiting their whiff of joy summer collection? They said mine were dispatched 6 days ago but I have not received them. I really want to get playing :( Baby Max is doing much better. He is getting rid of some of the mucus which is helping so much. I hope to make a few cards later as we are off to Godstone Farm tomorrow. I have quite a busy weekend and half term so will be slacking next week with my blogging. I hope to finish my bag as I have another one in mind already!!!! Thanks for stopping by and for all the comments you have left regarding my sons health I truely appreciate each and every one , Hugs Pascale

Back from Hospital - Went there suddenly

Hi everyone, just wanted to apologise for not blogging the last couple of days. I just wanted to say that I have been in hospital with my 14 month old who has breathing difficulties. He had low oxygen levels and a viral wheeze!! He was on 10 puffs an hour of ventilin for over 12 hours and is now being weaned down to a smaller amount. Good news is that we are out of hospital. I have lots of medication to administer!!!! I will try and pop by and say hi but please forgive me if I don't get time. I am shattered but relieved. Being a mother is never easy. I got a ray of hope as the paedritrician wrote a note to the housing regards the mould in our flat so it may move some mountains.

Colour Create - Sky blue, Tan ,Ecru

What a brilliant colour combination at colour create this week!!!! I love it!!! I also love the additional challenge ( not compulsory) to use glitter, glaze or such like on your card. I used Miss Anya (again) I coloured her with copics and paperpieced her top I sprayed a varnish on top of her. I used K&co papers I used some stitching on my new machine and I glittered the roses in my floral embellishments. I made the sentiment tag and that is it.
I am so fustrated today as I watched the season 5 finale of Lost and just want season 6 to begin next week. It was a cracking finale and it opened a whole new can of worms to be answered. GRRR Jack looked very gorgeous last night too, even more gorgeous than usual, very rugged!!!!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - Pink |Green and Brown

This is my card for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge . The theme is pink, green and brown. I used a gorjuss girl from set two. I used up some scrap Basic grey papers (eva and two scoops) to make a patchwork background (I had previously done a similar thing for Daring cardmakers challenge ) I like this patchwork better. I made a sentiment tag and stuck it on and then stuck on my gorjuss girl and left it there as that is all it needed.

The Crafty Pad - Something Shiny

Hi everyone, it is a bit dull in London today, good excuse to craft! I am very excited as this is my first Guest Design Team appearance since I joined blogland!!! Debbie who owns The Crafty Pad asked me to be a Guest designer for two weeks. This week the theme is to use something shiny in your card or project. You could use mirrorboard, Gems, metal, glitter as long as it shines. You do not have to use a crafty pad stamp, but if you choose too you, will be entered into the prize draw twice.
I decided to get out my polymer clay (my favourite medium) and make a necklace. I used the Butterflies and verse set. I mixed several colours of clay (silver, black and white) I rolled it out and having inked my stamp with clear versamark ink, I pressed it into the clay to form the butterfly impression. I cut it out using craft scissors. I then added beads to parts of the design. I didn't follow the stamp impression directly I improvised. I then added clear liquid polymer clay and baked in the oven.
To add the shine I painted on some H20's and added a glaze of varnish. I then beaded the necklace.
Debbies stamps are deeply etched and give a very good impression ,so this is why I could use them to make my necklace. I have already worn the necklace and had some lovely comments which made me feel very chuffed. I was shopping in Next at London Bridge and I chose a ring and the assistant said that will go perfectly with your butterfly necklace.
Please pop over to The Crafty pad and see the other Design Team projects as they are very creative and extremely talented.

I 'll make that sewing teacher eat her words!!!!

I hated needlework at school and the sewing teacher disliked me. I never managed to produce a decent garment. Well teacher (cannot even remember her name she was that memorable) I have managed to wind me bobbin up insert it and thread my machine all by myself using You Tube tutorials na na na na na!!!! I thank the LORD for You Tube as i learn by watching others. I find instructions hard to follow so I either watch someone or just go for it out of my crazy creative imagination. I hope to make the teacher eat her words by making a bag. Keep watching should get it done in the next couple of weeks. It isn't too adventurous as it will be a first piece.
Oh yes I made this card for Sketch Saturday . I used free papers, copics to colour and Stampativity stamps.

Basic Grey challenge - Ice cream

OOH I love ice cream so how could I resist the basic grey challenge this week!!!! I have two favourite flavours Rum and Raisin and Mint choc chip. I also love Mint feasts and cornetto's so I chose Mint choc chip as my inspiration. I used Stella Ruby papers. I coloured in Ian ( rock the farm set) from the greeting farm, using copics and promarkers. I used sakura stardust pen for the fish. I added some pebbles and ribbon. I paper pierced the scalloped edge card as I do not have any fancy border punches yet.

Friday Sketchers

Good evening, We are experiencing a mini monsoon here in London!!!!Don't know where it came from. I have been making this card for the Friday sketchers challenge . I ,have ordered my new Miss anya stamps today from the USA ,so in honour of Miss anya new releases I used her for this card. I used pink and brown for my colour pallette. Loved the sketch ,slightly unusual which I enjoy in challenges. I received my new sewing machine today and am hoping to make myself a shopping bag so keep your eyes peeled for my sewing attempts. I was a failure at school so I will be using You tube videos to excess to try and master it!!!!

Daring Cardmakers Challenge -The Sound of Music

I am entering this card into the Daring Cardmakers challenge which is "I want you to design a card which is 'Musically inspired'. Anything goes, whether you use musical paper, or an image of instrument - or even song lyrics."
I love this new gorjuss girl and I wanted to use the lyric in a previous card but didn't quite know what to do. I wanted to show that a sympathy card does not necessarily have to be plain and simple. Forgive me if you believe that they should be.
I used the gorjuss girl from set two. I used H20's and copics to colour. I added a frame with the lyrics in. I stamped the hearts with some foam stamps I made. I added the paper and ribbon.

A spoonful of sugar - Buttons

A spoonful of sugar asks us to use buttons on our creations. I have used them on my stamped flourish which is by stampativity as is the main image too. I used some free papers. I use copics and H20's to colour.

Truly Scrumptious - Dawns sketch go dotty

Not much going on, just got a mega grumpy teething 14 month old ,who will not leave me alone!!! Makes crafty time very short :( I made this card for the sketch challenge Truly Scrumptious. It asks us to get dotty so I used my cuttlebug to make circles which I coloured with copics to match the image. I decoupaged my lady. I used watercolour pencils to create the background. I was trying to create a funky retro feel. I also used K&co papers with very tiny dots on. Baby climbing on computer cutting down blogging time!!! So big apologies if i don't visit you, my baby won't let me! I do have some news I am going to sell some of my cards for fundraising purposes CAP ( Christians against poverty).

Creative card crew - Minimal

Hello I have had a busy day. I sent off my card I made for the post pal today and having looked at the website I think I am going to send a few more off. I also trimmed my baby's wispy bits of hair and it makes him look so much older, a real boy!!! Mind you having seen Kim's grandaughter, in a picture, he looks massive!
Oh and I made this card for the Creative Card Crew challenge . I used a circle card as the theme is minimal and I normally make my circle cards minimal. I used an image by creative expressions and I heat embossed it and painted with H20's and decoupaged the middle and added some leaves. I cut out a circle shape and layered it. I added some pearls and a ribbon and that is it.

High hopes challenge - Man card!

Hello again I am busy posting all my cards from the weekend. It is lovely weather here today just a bit too breezy. I haven't got much news today. I am fine and dandy and excited about lots of things. It is always good to have high hopes. I entered the high hopes challenge which is to make a male card. I used my tree stamp. I coloured in using twinkling H20's and added some hand stitching and some basic grey boxer papers. I like this card for a man. I enjoy using my high hopes background stamps for male cards generally.

Sketch Saturday meets Colour Create challenge

The sketch I used is from sketch saturday . I flipped it. I used the colour scheme from Colour create which is to use blue and green. The optional extra is to use paperpiecing. I paperpieced Miss Anya's outfit and her hairband. She reminds me of a diva so I used this as my sentiment.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge

Hi the challenge at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is to use the sketch. The only other requirements are that you use a stamped image and do not use your card for any other challenge. I used this sugar nellie image for my card. I brought him last week having realised my male stamp stock is not huge. I really love him as he is easy to colour and so adaptable. I used red and white. I mounted him on blue and green card to create a scene. I added Goal as my sentiment. I also added some handrawn lines to mirror the lines on his shorts. The sketch is a simple on but I think these are often harder to interpret. I loved working with this sketch. Thanks guys.

Walking in a WINTER WONDERLAND!! - New challenge blog

Hello everyone I am extremely excited and pleased to announce the start of a new challenge blog!!! I was asked a couple of months ago by my blogging buddies Joey and Anne ,if I would like to join them as a Design Team member for a new challenge blog called WINTER WONDERLAND . Well I was honoured and immediately said YES!!!!! Please visit the other Design Team members blogs Teri , Pam , Lesley and Sam . I am so delighted to be working alongside these creative ladies.
As the title suggests this blog is focusing on Christmas. It will give everyone the opportunity to prepare for the festive season without the stress of last minute preparation. One Sunday every month will focus on a project other than a card. You are also welcome to make other projects (Tags, layouts, altered items, decorations, gift bags) on the other weeks too. Pop over to the blog and check it out. The first challenge is on Sunday May 31st. Also you may like to become a follower so you will not miss out on all the great challenges that are coming up.
Here is a sneaky peek of my DT for the first challenge.

Hi I don't often talk about my religion (I am a born again christian) however whilst at church today there was an amazing testimony given that I wanted to share. My friend Jo has been in a wheelchair for 6 years she got a virus which paralysed her from the waist down. She had to give up her medical degree and various things as she was wheelchair bound. She has been very ill in hospital this week with pnuemonia and various complications. Her mum requested that people pray for her in the North, East, South and West ,as she needed to be healed. Well on Thursday she got up and walked off her hospital bed. God performed a miracle healing and answer to prayer. I am astounded that this has happened in our church. So believe ,God can do miracles if you believe! I saw Jo today walking and one of the young boys said "why are you walking" She said "because I can now".

Friday Sketchers

Friday sketchers are celebrating this week so there are lots of prizes on offer so pop over and check out the gorgeous sketch for this week as there are lots more opportunities to get a little something. I made this card using monochrome as I love the effect it gives and need to practise the colouring technique. I used a gorjuss girl from set two and some papers by Basic Grey and doodlebug designs. I also used some flowers by imagincense and used promarkers to colour the image,a black outliner and a white gelly pen. I added a fairly generic sentiment so as not to limit the purpose of the card.
We are off to a party for a friends 10 year old boy later so I may try and get a card or too in before we go will see how good time is to me.

Daring Cardmakers Challenge- Mums the word!

Hello everyone, I have made this card for the Daring cardmakers challenge which is outlined below. In the UK it is not mothers day this weekend, we celebrate in March. I thought I may just send this to my Mum to tell her how much I care! I used some K&Co paper which I spritzed with glimmer mists. I stamped onto the paper with stamps and heat embossed the image. I then used another colour ( pink to heat emboss the flowers onto. I sewed them onto the backing paper with seed beads. I then added the heart by heat embossing and added the sentiment MUM.
Hi, it's Tanya Leigh here and I am back after a long break from the Daring Cardmakers. The break was needed for different reasons but I am now back and have had fun getting back into making cards.
This week it's my first time to set the dare since being back - it's Mother's Day here in New Zealand on Sunday 10th May (not sure about other parts of the world), so this week's dare is to make a card with the word MUM on it somewhere.
It could be Mother's Day, birthday etc.

The Sugar Bowl - Marlenes sketch

The challenge at The Sugar Bowl this week is to use Marlenes sketch (a fab one!)and buttons on your card. I used my new country cousins stamp as she is just so beautiful. I used blue and yellow as my colour theme. I loved using the sketch it is brilliant.
I had a busy day yesterday so I did not manage to blog any cards so be prepared to see lots today!!! I had speech therapy for my youngest daughter and I had to attend two connect groups for church as I am currently changing groups. I was exhausted. My son is teething and he does not do it well and that is taking it's toll too. On the housing front no good news as yet but I am hopeful that the right thing will happen at the right time. I got some more great news too but I will share that with you all at a later date!!!! I am a happy bunny!

Cute Card Thursday - A happy card

The challenge at Cute card Thursday this week is to create a card to make someone happy.
Hello, I read that you do card challenges and I wondered if you would consider doing a challenge with a twist.

I run Post Pals, we feature seriously ill children (most have cancer or are going through transplants) and their siblings on our website www.postpals.co.uk and invite members of the public to log on from around the world and send a card to a child. The aim is to make the child smile, but we have found it also helps their self esteem and parents often open them with a child during a procedure to distract them.

At the moment we are helping 120 children but they aren't getting much post.

I was wondering if you would do a challenge, instead of people just scanning in their card for the theme but they actually make one for a Post Pal child and send it off.

I can't begin to tell you how much receiving a card means when your ill and isolated.

Thank you,

Vikki
There is also some lovely stamps from The Crafty Pad as a prize so check out the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. I made this card for a boy. I will be going to check out the post pals website so I can send it to one of the children.

A little surprise

Creative card Crew challenge - Embossing

Hi guys I am a little less rattled today! I am looking to the future, picked myself up dusted off the rubble and ready to face another day. I made this card for the Creative card crew challenge. My first time for this challenge. They asked us to emboss so I heat embossed my image and sentiment and cuttlebug embossed the circle with my swiss dots folder. I have to leave my church connect group as I am joining another group so I am making cards for each of the group to say I love them all. I will definately use this one. I am enjoying a quiet time and slow cooking lamb shanks with rosemary garlic and tinned tomatoes, with roasted new potatoes, carrots and runner beans. I love multi tasking! I think I can here the gang so I will quickly finish posting this and serve up.

High hopes Challenge - Embossing

Hello still fuming!!!! Nevermind I a sure things will resolve themselves. I made this card for the High hopes challenge. It is embossing. I embossed the sentiment, the main image and the dark backing paper is handmade using embossing resist. I added some pebbles (please ignore the glue drying). I added a button with ribbon to embellish. I added some faux stitching too. I love using these background stamps by high hopes.
My partner fell about ten foot from the top of his van ladder today and has a very sore hand. I hope it is not broken, he is watching Arsenal lose instead of going to casualty. I hope he is not expecting too much TLC that is the last thing on my mind at the moment.

Justice where is it in Britain these days!

Hi everyone, I am in a fowl mood!!! Justice has disappeared in Britain!!! I have been waiting 12 years for a home and I am now 5th for my desired flat and someone who has just gone onto the list in March is fifth too! How does that work? I am not going into it as it will make me say and do things that God would not want me too do. I am fuming though believe you and me.
On a lighter note Rica found my mojo under her stairs and sent it back to me, so I made this card yesterday. I have only just found time to post it. I made it for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge . The challenge was to make an extra special card for your Mum!

Hi I got an award!

My friend Barbara at Paper Dreams has given me an award. Go and see Barbaras work it is very inspirational and creative. I have to pass it onto 5 people but I don't think I can do that so I want to give it to everyone who stops by to read my blog and leave such lovely encouraging comments. If you haven't got it please take it. I have been to see Hannah Montana today. It is a fab girly movie! So if you have a daughter make an excuse to take her!

Colour create - Red, chocolate and cream

The challenge over at colour create is to use red, chocolate and cream on your card. I don't have many backing papers in this colour so I created my own using a punch and some plain coloured papers and cardstock and some gems. I used the only gorjuss girl from set two ,who I hadn't inked up last week. I used copics and sakura stardust to colour in the image and water pencils to create the shadow behind her. I used some ribbon which is the optional extra for the challenge behind my sentiment and made a little bow to sit at the bottom of my framed image. My photography has let me down here but I struggled to get a good photo today. I always do with shimmery cards.

I made another card but I am not too sure I want to show it as it is just not quite there for me. My mojo is hiding and I can't seem to find it. I have a friend who is a songwriter and singer and he suggested I look under the sofa as that is where his often is. I looked but I don't think it is there. I am taking it easy with cards this month as I have a couple of other projects under way more news on that soon!
We have had a great day we went shopping in Lewisham (hi Joey) to spend the kids birthday vouchers and then had a picnic in Greenwich park. We went into the maritime museum and then came home. We are all coughing.... eek swine flu.... alert!!!!
Look at babes 2 and 3 below.

Daring Cardmakers challenge - Old Macdonald had a farm

Hi everyone, my mummy came to see me today and we had a lovely day. We went to starbucks for hot chocolate ,then we went to Next to shop, then we went to The Tate Modern for our art fix and then Pizza express to fill our tummies. We caught the bus back to mine and I made this card for the DCM challenge. The challenge is to use farm animals on your card. Out came my Greeting farm stamps and here is the end product.
I have put a bid in for a flat and we are second in line for it. I really want to get it, please if you pray could you keep me in your prayers. This would make such a difference to my family and to my sanity. Thank you! I leave it in Gods hands.
